Born into a humble agricultural family in Dharmavaram, Anantapur district, K. Venkat Narayana’s life is a powerful testament to the belief that dreams are never limited by one’s beginnings. Raised by parents who never had the opportunity to receive a formal education, he relied on hard work, determination and merit scholarships to pursue his education through Municipal High School and government institutions before moving to Bengaluru for higher studies.
His relentless pursuit of excellence saw him qualify as a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Cost Accountant and Law Graduate – an extraordinary academic achievement that laid the foundation for an equally remarkable career.
KVN began his professional journey with Prestige Group, where he rose from a managerial position to become its CEO. His leadership played a defining role in transforming the company into one of India’s foremost real estate developers, today valued at nearly ₹70,000 crore with a workforce of over 10,000 employees. He was also instrumental in delivering some of Chennai’s most iconic developments, including Forum Vijaya Mall, Prestige Polygon, Prestige Bellavista and Prestige Metropolitan.
Never content with past achievements, KVN went on to establish the KVN Group and KVN Productions, while also mentoring promising startups and championing meaningful social initiatives through the KVN Foundation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Foundation stood by thousands in need, reflecting his belief that true success is measured not only by wealth created, but by lives touched.

Venkat Narayana has now been entrusted with the prestigious responsibility of serving as the Special Representative of the Government of Tamil Nadu in New Delhi.
